# Metrics dashboard — The Performance Sheet

Preview only; no product adoption is implied.

## Current / change
The current five-tile skyline gives small companion metrics large empty containers, while the trend and explanation compete with card chrome.

- Replaced five equal-height cards with one large trend and four compact metric rows.
- Moved all three change paragraphs directly after the headline evidence; no status or freeze wording changed.
- Kept every channel cell and target meter. Historical bars use the darker existing ramp step #4a878f for visibility; current week remains darkest.
- The mobile table uses repeated existing column labels, not duplicate data DOM.

## Benefit and trade-off
A broad twelve-week trend sits beside a compact mono-figure ledger; change commentary is directly below, before the full channel and service evidence.

Trade-off: The full-width channel ledger and explicit mobile field labels make the document longer. Reliability detail follows the channel table.

Recommendation: prefer the new composition for this reader’s job; parent selects before integration. Keeping Current remains a valid choice.

## Content and labels
No new visible DOM text. At mobile, Sessions / Signups / Conv. / vs W33 are repeated once per row, six rows (24 CSS labels). All five original semantic table headers remain available to assistive technology.

Exact normalized source text-node multiset, numeric multiplicities, paragraph/heading/footer strings and keyed records pass; full source SVG bytes and meter widths remain unchanged. No factual content added, missing or changed. See evidence/content-parity.json for original records and counts.

## Visual review
Desktop reads as a performance sheet rather than a row of empty dashboard tiles. The 768px view makes the full trend broad without compressing companion figures. At 390/320, a single metric row keeps value, delta and comparison together; explicit table labels cost height but remove ambiguity.

Removed unintended mobile Total-cell borders discovered in the first image review; darkened historical bars within the original teal ramp. Increased caption/footer/ledger prose to at least 16px.

## Verification
Final captures at 1440/768/390/320, proposed boundary pairs, all existing/proposed boundary smokes, three labelled growth fixtures at 1440/390/320, forced font fallback at 320, computed text contrast and actual phone accessibility-tree checks. Body prose is at least 16px with line-height at least 1.5. Source and new contain no scripts, links, forms or disclosures; no no-op controls were added.

## Limitations
Chromium only; no Safari/Firefox or physical-device test. The long-title/thin/growth fixtures are labelled synthetic stress samples and are excluded from sample parity. No arbitrary document-height gate. Full-size screenshots and standalone HTML remain the reading references, not reduced comparison overviews.
